EODG, eBOSS for ‘No Kotong, No Red’ tape policy
THE Dagupan City government’s department heads were recently convened by Mayor Belen Fernandez for an assessment of the activities launched in support of the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) campaign of the national government in preparation for the scheduled visit of the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) Central Office to the city.
Among the topics and issues discussed were streamlining and centralized digitalization of business applications and online payment system for the adoption of the electronic Business One-Stop Shop (eBOSS) .
These activities were initially discussed during the city’s delegation’s meeting with the officials of the Quezon City government last June, being the model city for digital governance, and for the opportunity to partner with the Department of Information and Communications Technology for the adoption of digital programs and systems in Dagupan. The DICT cited Dagupan as one of the digital cities in the country.
She said her administration will manifest its full support to the ARTA’s campaign for HASSLE-FREE, NO KOTONG, NO RED-TAPE policy.
