CITY PREPARING FOR EL NINO

MAYOR Belen Fernandez didn’t have to wait for guidelines from the national and provincial governments to create the El Niño Task Force to prepare for the onslaught of the phenomenon. After issuing her Executive Order No. Executive Order No. 10 on May 10, 2023, she called for an organizational meeting to set parameters for the plans to mitigate the impact of El Niño on the people’s lives, health and socio-economic conditions, possible loss of lives, disruption of production, livelihood opportunities, disruption  of essential services,  and damages to property and national infrastructure.

CITY SCHOLAR PASSES CRIMINOLOGY BOARD EXAM

MAYOR Belen Fernandez happily congratulates Arnold Sibucao of Brgy. Bonuan Gueset, one of the first batch of scholars 9 years  ago for passing the Criminology Baoard Exam.  She extolled Sibucao’s advice to the city’s scholars:  “(Sa mga scholars ngayon), sipagan niyo lang sa pag-aaral, samahan niyo rin ng dedikasyon dahil nakasuporta sa inyo ang gobyerno. Laking pasalamat ko kay Mayor Belen bilang first batch sa mga scholars ng siyudad. Mula 1st year hanggang 4th year, nakaalalay ang pamamahala ni mayor sa amin.” (Dagupan CIO)
