MINI-HARVESTING AT BRGY. BOLOSAN’S ‘GULAYAN SA BARANGAY’
THE inspection-visit of Mayor Belen Fernandez at the Gulayan sa Barangay project in Barangay Bolosan last March 1 turned into a mini-harvesting event accompanied by Barangay Captain Nancy Morris and barangay council members. They harvested pechay, eggplant, tomatoes, sili and piyas (kamias) after congratulating the barangay for its successful program to provide food source for barangay residents. She expects the project, an initiative of Kagawad Romulo as chairman of the agriculture committee, freely shares the plants using organic fertilizers, to serve as a model in the city. ORIENTATION FOR KATROPA MEMBERS
MAYOR Fernandez urged members of the Kalalakihang Tapat sa Responsibilidad at Obligasyon sa Pamilya (KATROPA) in Barangay Lucao, led by Rexur C. de Sola, to remain true to its advocacies during their orientation held at the City Population Office last February 24, 2023. She reminded them of their role as heads of families to keep them safe as she updated them with the measures taken for the safety and security around communities, scholarship program at disaster preparedness.
