MAYOR Belen Fernandez, accompanied by OIC City Engineer Josephine Corpuz and Tondaligan Park Administrator Albert Gregorio, meet with shed owners at the Tondaligan to update them about the new plans to make Tondaligan Ferdinand Beach as more competitive tourist destination that will encourage visitors to keep returning to the park.
Among the new plans include the construction of One Bonuan Pavilion that will be funded by Senator Risa Hontiveros, skateboard park, Filipino-Chinese Friendship Park from the Consulate of the People’s Republic of China. (Dagupan CIO News)

2024 BUDGET FOR TRANSPARENT GOVERNANCE

MAYOR Belen Fernandez, accompanied by department heads, addresses members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod to explain and defend the 2023 annual budget that her office submitted. She appealed to the councilors to rush its passage because the delay will continue to affect the scholarship program for 5,000 indigent students, will delay implementation of social programs for education, youth and sports program, health and social services, protection of children and women against violence and risk reduction and management plans.  (Dagupan CIO News)

HELPING REMOTE COMMUNITES DEVELOP WITH TECHNOLOGY

THROUGH the Community Empowerment through Science and Technology Program (CEST) of the  Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Mayor Belen expressed confidence that the technology offered by the program will greatly facilitate sustainable development of the remote barangays. CEST is an anti-poverty alleviation program of the national government that provides science and technology interventions. (Dagupan CIO News)
