FISHERIES ROAD PROJECT IN BRGY MALUED

PHASE I and Phase II of the Fisheries Road Project in Barangay Malued was formally inaugurated last January 21, 2023 by Fourth District Rep. Christopher ‘Toff’ de Venecia and Mayor Belen Fernandez. The road  project is part of Congressman de Venecia’s flood mitigation campaign under the ‘Buhay Kabuhayan’ program, a project initiated by his father, former Speaker Jose de Venecia Jr. Mayor Fernandez thanked the congressman for the support since her elevation projects along the inner roads of different barangays are linked to the city’s ‘Buhay Kabuhayan’ road projects. CAREER GUIDANCE FOR STUDENTS

MAYOR Belen Fernandez, accompanied by PESO Manager Joy Siapno met with DepEd SDS Aguedo Fernandez and discussed city government’s partnership in DOLE’s Career Guidance Advocacy.  The program seeks to provide guidance to Grade 5 and 6 students on careers given their educational achievements. Also discussed was the planned partnership with the private sector for the employment of K-12 successful graduates. (Dagupan CIO News)

UPGRADING OF DON JOSE CALIMLIM ROAD (CALLEJON ST.)

THE P20 Million road project, the upgrading of PCC Pavement and Drainage System of the Don Jose Calimlim Road (Callejon St.) in Brgy. Pogo Chico being funded by the office Sen. Francisco Tolentino is expected to start soon.  This was confirmed during the site inspection done by Mayor Belen and DPWH Region 1 Planning Section during last Wednesday (January 25) on learning of the release of the fund. Brgy. Pogo Chico is always one of the worst hit during a typhoon. (Dagupan CIO News)
