 TF Bantay Ilog continues dismantling of illegal fish pens

OPERATORS of illegal fish pens sign notices of violations issued by the Task Force Bantay Ilog. Meanwhile two more oversized illegal fish pens in Sitio Sabangan, Bonuan Gueset were dismantled. According to Kgd. Abel Abueme, the dismantling and removal of the illegal fish pens  were on schedule after notices of violations were received by operators and owners.

According to City Agriculture Office, 18 illegal structures in Barangays Pugaro-Suit, Salapingao and Bonuan Gueset have been dismantled since the TF Bantay Ilog started its operations November 14. (Dagupan CIO News)

OFW Family Day, OFW Children circle celebration set December 10

PREPARATION for the celebration of OFW Family Day and organization of OFW Children Circle on December 10, 2022 were discussed with Mayor Belen Fernandez by Amapola Villar, Overseas Workers Welfare Officer II OWWA Region 1,  Fitzh Sibonga and Karen Tan, both Family Welfare Officers, accompanied by City PESO Manager Joy Siapno. The combined events will be held for the first in Dagupan City and Mayor Fernandez expressed full support for the activities for the OFW children with ages 8-12 and 13-20 .

MBTF commits to promote Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) program in Dagupan

PERSONNEL of DILG, PNP, BFP BJMP, CSOs, Barangay Officials at LGU joined the launching of the Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) where Mayor Belen Fernandez urged residents to be actively involved in the campaign against illegal drugs. Mayor Fernandez reminded participants that the city was already cited by the Dangerous Drugs Board as an outstanding performer in the campaign against illegal drugs when she became mayor the first time. The launch was marked by walkathon, zumba, tree planting and dance exercise by participants. Mayor Belen thanked CLGOO Romarie Soriano and P/Lt. Col.
