DOTR SECRETARY VOWS MORE TRANSPORT PROJECTS IN PANGASINAN. Department of Transportation Secretary Arthur P. Tugade (left) vows to continue fulfilling his commitment to support Pangasinan’s progress through various transport initiatives and infrastructure projects in a meeting with Governor Amado I. Espino III (right) on June 10 at the Governor’s Office, Capitol. Secretary Tugade and Governor Espino, together with DOTr Assistant Secretary for Aviation Jaime Melo and Lingayen Mayor Leopoldo Bataoil make a gesture of unity as Sec. Tugade bares that the DOTr is committed to upgrade the Lingayen Airstrip into a commercial airport. Governor Espino assured his full support to the department’s programs and projects in Pangasinan that will benefit more Pangasinenses. In a statement, Sec. Tugade said that the programs of the DOTr is in-line with the mandate of President Rodrigo Duterte to provide connectivity among Filipinos in order for their lives to be more comfortable and convenient.(PJES/Photos by JZP)
