LIVELIHOOD ASSISTANCE GRANT TO INFORMAL SECTORS. Mr. Maximo Quitling (2nd from left) from Bugallon, accompanied by Bugallon Mayor Priscilla Espino (left), and DSWD Officers Julius Estrada (2nd from right) and Myla Ramos (right), shows the P10,000 financial assistance granted to him by the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 1 and Provincial Government of Pangasinan as a part of the Livelihood Assistance Grant (LAG) program for the informal sectors in Pangasinan. The LAG program is intended to assist the informal sectors like solo parents, persons and children with disability, ailing or lining alone senior citizens, and out-of-school youths whose source of income were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of P6.65 M financial grant was distributed to 22 selected local government units in the province. Eligible beneficiaries are assessed by municipal and city social welfare and development office. As of April 30, 17 towns and cities have been visited by the program. (PJES/Photo by RAB)
