SALAMAT!
For the past 52 years, our editors and staff of The SUNDAY PUNCH plodded through each issue each week with the prayer that each one helped make a difference in the life of the communities in Pangasinan. We completed each presswork with a high sense of accomplishment and genuine bonding with our readers.
That we have come this far is a feat that we can attribute mainly to the Pangasinenses here and overseas who kept faith with us through all the years, the readers and advertisers who supported our journalistic mission as articulated by our founder (my father), Ermin E. Garcia, in 1956.
To them, and particularly to those who lent themselves in celebrating our 52nd year of punching, salamat ya balbaleg ed sikayo!
