THE Dagupan Sangguniang Panlungsod, headed by Vice Mayor Bryan Kua, has expressed its profound gratitude to the Philippine Che Yong Cua and Chua Association–North Central Luzon Chapter for its generous donation of several personal computer units to the city’s legislative body.

The resolution, authored by Councilor Marcelino Fernandez, stated that the computers will be used in the daily operations and staff work of the Dagupan SP. Fernandez said the donation will greatly enhance the efficiency and quality of public service delivery by the SP Secretariat and legislative offices, ensuring faster documentation, research, and coordination work in aid of legislation.

Beyond generosity, Fernandez noted, the act of the Filipino-Chinese group embodies the spirit of bayanihan and civic partnership that strengthens the bond between the local government and the private sector. It also proves that when communities unite with government, progress and compassion naturally follow.

The SP added that the gesture is not merely a gift of resources, but also a symbol of trust, solidarity, and shared responsibility in realizing the city’s legislative and development agenda under the guiding vision of “Pamilya ang Puso ng Progreso.”

The Filipino-Chinese association continues to exemplify the values of unity, generosity, and social commitment through various outreach activities and programs that uplift lives and foster harmony within and beyond their community. (Leonardo Micua)
