Mediaman, public servant Dante Cera signs off
PUBLIC servant and radio commentator Dante Cera has died. He was 55.
News of Cera’s sudden death shocked the Pangasinan media a few hours after his death.
Cera, a kagawad serving in Barangay Banaoang in Mangaldan town, flew to Palawan province along with other barangay officials for a seminar by the Liga ng mga Barangay.
The delegation toured some scenic spots in the area, which may have induced Cera’s weak heart. Around late evening Friday, October 3, Cera, debilitated, complained of having difficulty breathing. He was rushed to the hospital and was eventually declared dead on Saturday, October 4, at past 1 in the morning.
Off the airwaves and Facebook streaming over Aksyon Radyo Pangasinan, Cera was known to be a prolific and endearing public servant.
His loss is deeply mourned by the community. (Ahikam Pasion)
