Calub commended for job well done in Dagupan
The Dagupan Sangguniang Panlungsod passed a resolution on October 20, expressing the highest commendation and gratitude to Police Lt. Colonel Lawrence Keith Calub for his outstanding and dedicated service to Dagupan City as he departed for another posting.
Calub, who assumed as officer-in charge of the Dagupan City Police in August 2025, was replaced by Colonel Orly Pagaduan, who took office on October 20 as OIC City Director of the newly created Type C Dagupan City Police Office, whose chief should be headed by a full-pledged colonel.
Authored by Councilors Jose Netu Tamayo and Michael Fernandez, the resolution took note that when he succeeded P/Lt. Colonel Brendon Palisoc, as OIC chief of police, immediately received support from the local government in his mandate to strengthen crime prevention, public order, and community confidence, led by Lt. Colonel Calub.
In his short stint in the city, Calub demonstrated exemplary leadership through active community engagement, prompt operations, and collaboration with government, civic, and barangay stakeholders, the resolution reads.
“It is both fitting and just that the Sangguniang Panlungsod publicly recognize and commend such strong and dedicated performance, to encourage continuity of excellence and to set a standard of integrity in public service,” it said. (Leonardo Micua)
