THE Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Pangasinan passed on September 15 Provincial Resolution No. 209-2025, congratulating and commending Bolinao for winning the Best Municipality Tourism Destination Category in the first-ever Philippine Tourism Awards 2025 organized by the Department of Tourism (DOT).

The award was given during the Philippine Tourism Awards held on September 8, 2025, which recognized outstanding contributions of individuals, enterprises, and local government units in hospitality and tourism across the country.

Known for its pristine white sand beaches, thriving giant clam sanctuary, and rich historical landmarks, Bolinao earned the distinction for showcasing the natural beauty of the town and further elevating Pangasinan’s status as one of the country’s premier tourist destinations.

“The Sangguniang Panlalawigan applauds this remarkable feat, which has brought pride and honor to the people of Bolinao and the entire province,” the resolution authored by First District Board Member Apolonia Bacay stated. (Eva Visperas)
