THE Julius K. Quiambao Medical and Wellness Center Inc., a new tertiary level 2 hospital located along the Bayambang-San Carlos road, is planning to expand its facilities and services as it carries on with its mission of delivering quality and compassionate healthcare.

Since opening its doors in October 2024, the 100-bed, six-story hospital has already been averaging 50 admitted patients, 45 to 50 outpatient consultations, and 48 hemodialysis patients daily, according to Medical Director Dr. Dave Gamboa during the Media Meet and Greet on August 20.

To expand its services, JKQ plans to add 20 more hemodialysis machines and open specialty centers such as an eye center, chemotherapy unit, wound care center, and sleep center.

Hospital Administrator Arnel Glorioso emphasized that the center is PhilHealth-accredited, honoring benefit packages such as YAKAP, an enhanced primary care program. For patients unable to shoulder hospital costs, JKQ Medical coordinates with government agencies for financial assistance.

Beyond its medical services, the hospital also integrates a wellness component, focusing on mental health and holistic well-being, reflecting the vision of former Bayambang Mayor Cesar T. Quiambao, who founded the center in honor of his late son, Julius K. Quiambao.  (Eva Visperas)
