UST Medical Mission serves 1,208 in Dagupan
A two-day surgical mission conducted by the UST Medical Missions, Inc., in partnership with the Dagupan City government, served 1,208 indigent patients.
Held at the West Central Elementary School in Poblacion Oeste on May 31 to June 1, the mission provided 950 free circumcisions, 150 minor operations, 80 ultra-sound services and attended to 28 osteoarthritis elderly patients, aside from providing free medicines.
Mayor Belen Fernandez mobilized doctors and nurses of the City Health Office, along with Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Nutrition Scholars and Barangay Service Point Officers to assist in the mission. (Leonardo Micua)
