TWO students of the Bonuan Boquig  National High School in Dagupan City made their city and country proud when they brought home three major awards from  the Global English Language Olympiad in Southeast Asia (GELOSEA) held April 1-5  in Incheon, South Korea.

Yzteven Casilang stood out in the international stage and won the Diamond and Gold awards while Mel Jabez Ubilas secured the silver award in the same class.

After clinching top spots in the national round of GELOSEA last November 2024, the Grade 10 students earned their seats in the international round of the exam where they competed against delegates from other Southeast Asian countries.

GELOSEA, organized by the Global League of Winners Inc. (GLOW), is an English language competition to test the participants’ proficiency in grammar, reading comprehension, and critical communication skills.
