INSTEAD of hosting a birthday bash on February 15, former 4th District Representative Gina de Venecia organized medical missions in Mangaldan, Dagupan City, San Fabian, San Jacinto and Manaoag starting February 10.

In her message, De Venecia said the series of medical missions was her family’s way of giving back to the people of the district who continue to trust her, former Speaker Jose de Venecia Jr., and their son incumbent Rep. Christopher de Venecia.

“Even if we will come back three times in our lives, we will not be able to repay what you’ve done for us,” she said.

The medical mission in Dagupan was graced by Mayor Belen Fernandez who hailed the De Venecias for their enduring love and sacrifices for the city of Dagupan and its people.

The medical mission included general check up, x-rays, Echo Cardiogram (ECG), urinalysis, blood tests, eye checks up, free reading glasses, and even free haircut, and manicure and pedicure.

The event was made possible with the help of the Region 1 Medical Center, the Specialist Group of Hospital and Medical Center, Maxima Technical Skills and Training Institute, Inc., Mangaldan Technical Institute, Inc., and the Academia de Sta. Cecilia. (Leonardo Micua)
