THE 12 official candidates for the Miss Universe Philippines-Pangasinan were introduced on Sunday, December 1, at SM City Rosales.

Leslie Intendencia-Gascon, MUPH Pangasinan local director, said the candidates from different towns and cities were carefully selected from a pool of 28 applicants based on physical beauty, charisma, intelligence, and the advocacy they wish to promote.

The contestants are:

Jessa Gundayao, 24, from Alaminos City; Aliyah Cayabyab Macmod, 19, Bayambang; Angel Louise Cortez Dolor, 24, Dasol; Giselle Pataray Villorente, 24, Laoac; Dhenice Gonzaga Hingpit, 22, Lingayen; Micah Apostol, 21, Mangaldan; Rose Ann Salinas Lomibao, 25, Mapandan; May Ann Caballero Samson, 19, Pozorrubio; Reignje Mae Angel Dumbrique, 24, San Carlos City; Andrea Ravanzo Cayabyab, 22, San Fabian; Vienna Louise L. de Guzman, 28, Santa Barbara; and Monica Pearl A. Valle, 24, Urdaneta City.

Reigning Miss Universe Philippines-Pangasinan Grace Jineah Lumague, in a message during the event, commended this year’s candidates as exceptional and many come with prior pageant experience, and cheered them on to prepare for the competition.
