Pangasinense is Mrs. Universe PHL North Pacific Asia 2024
THE Sangguniang Panlalawigan honored Dr. Marie Claire Bustarde-Briones, a proud Pangasinense, after her recent triumph in the Mrs. Universe Philippines 2024 pageant at the Mayuree Grand Ballroom of the Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City.
Dr. Bustarde-Briones, from the town of Basista and the campus executive director of Pangasinan State University (Binmaley campus), was crowned Mrs. Universe Philippines North Pacific Asia 2024.
In her speech, she thanked the provincial board, led by Vice Governor Mark Ronald Lambino, expressing her joy in bringing home the crown.
As she prepares for the competition in Incheon, South Korea next month, where 103 delegates from around the world will compete, she is hopeful for further success, saying, “I am still praying that I will get the crown again.”
Her mission extends beyond personal achievement as she proudly represents Pangasinan’s rich culture on the global stage.
Aside from her primary title, Dr. Bustarde-Briones also won several other honors, including Mrs. ALTA 2024, Mrs. UGB 2024, and Mrs. Slimmers 2024. (Eva Visperas)
