Pangasinan honors Dagupan’s performing arts medalists

THE Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Pangasinan commended the medalists from the Performing Arts Studio of Dagupan City for their impressive performance at the Youth Educational Friendship Festival 2024, held at Pooi To Middle School in Hong Kong.

The resolution, authored by Third District Board Member Shiela Marie Baniqued, celebrates the exceptional artists from the Performing Arts Studio, who represented the Philippines at this year’s festival, which took place from August 10-13, 2024, and included participants from 15 countries.

The following were recognized in the resolution:

Contemporary Dance Group Category, GOLD — Allaniz Ferrer, Alyssandra Vinluan, Sundee Quimosing, Miyah Dar, Chloe Columbino, Hannah Cruz, Nashly Rosario, Raezhan Macaranas and Aleyana De Vera.

– Contemporary Dance Group Category (Juniors), Gold — Margaux Ugaban, Gavrielle Vinluan, Jamilla Ferrer, Oona Meneses, Sophia Mordoza, Pia Cerezo, Geanna Fernandez, Jaeda Roces, Summer Moore, Alaia Sinsuan, Rajayna Calugay, Francheska Dion, and Rhenamae Resultay

Classical ballet (solo), GOLD — Allaniz Ferrer, Sundee Quimosing, Aleyana De Vera, Raezhan Macaranas, Chloe Columbino, Hannah Cruz, Jamilla Ferrer, and Nashly Theese Rosario.

Classical ballet (solo), SILVER — Margaux Ugaban, Oona Meneses, Gavrielle, Pia Cerezo, Sophia Mendoza, and Jenna Vanderson

Classical ballet (solo), BRONZE- Julia Seen.

Music Category (solo) — Leon Vanderson (GOLD, drums); Jenna Vanderson (g GOLD old, violin); Sophia Mendoza (SILVER, violin); and Margaux Ugaban (SILVER, violin).

The Performing Arts Studio students also earned the titles of Overall Champion, Overall First Runner-Up, and Overall Second Runner-Up across multiple categories. (Eva Visperas)
