SP mourns death of former Mayor Badong Perez
THE provincial board of Pangasinan has passed a resolution extending its deepest condolences and sincerest sympathy on the death of former San Manuel Mayor Salvador “Badong” Perez.
Perez, affectionately known as “Apo Badong,” passed away on July 24 at the age of 73 after battling a lingering illness.
He is survived by his children: Vice Mayor Alain Jerico Perez, Laureano Perez IV, 6th District Board Member Salvador Perez Jr., former 6th District Board Member and Philippine Councilors League-Pangasinan Chapter President Shiela Marie Perez-Galicia, Municipal Councilor Antonio Perez, Mayor Kenneth Marco Perez, Lyka Perez, and Karliz Perez.
Perez served as mayor from 1995 to 1998 and again from 2001 to 2010. After his mayoral tenure, he successfully ran for vice mayor.
His internment is on August 10. (Eva Visperas)
