Lady doctor is Pangasinan Brotherhood-USA prexy

SUE Ann Tumakay, a lady physician-assistant with roots from Calasiao town and San Carlos City, was voted as the new president of the Pangasinan Brotherhood-USA and will be sworn into office on August 24 along with the group’s new Executive Board members.

Philippine Los Angeles Consul Leonard Maleon will be the guest and inducting officer.

Tumakay said this year’s PBA-USA slogan is “United We Rise, Lifting Us, We Climb”.

Ellen Rodriguez-Swing, a lady corporate accountant whose mother is from Burgos, is the board chairperson. She is also the president of the Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce of Cerritos.

Members of the Executive Board are Danny Tejada (Mangatarem), vice chair; Josie Carayugan-Khoo (Bayambang), EVP; Dean Mandapat (San Carlos City), corporate secretary; Baltazar Tamayo Jr. (San Carlos City), treasurer; Pio Caguioa (Dagupan City), auditor.

Board members are JR Araquel (Alaminos City); Marites Orencia-Bautista (San Fabian); Jann Doctor-Bergado (Santa Barbara); Nieves C. Coquia (Dagupan City); Noemi Viloria-Dumlao (Bani); and Henry Estrada (Calasiao).

The other officers are Giovani Javier, PRO; Carlito Lumague, community relations officer; Oscar Camacho, business manager; Eddie C. Ferrer, finance officer; Dan Nino, compliance officer; Henry Ward, peace officer; Mike Mandapat, historian, and Mel G Oxciano, legal counsel.

Also to be included in the swearing-in ceremony are six vice-presidents representing Pangasinan’s six congressional districts. They are Perlita Rasing (Alaminos City) first; Leoncio Dumlao (Mangatarem) second; Mac Posadas (San Carlos City) third; Lydia Ceralde (Dagupan City) fourth; Sunny Quezon (Pozorrubio) fifth; and Rey Rodrigo (San Nicolas) sixth.
