First ‘Bahay Kubooks’ launched in Dagupan
THE Inner Wheel Club of Dagupan launched the first ‘Bahay Kubooks’ at the Federico Ceralde Integrated School, coinciding with the opening day of classes on Monday, July 29.
The ‘Bahay Kubooks’ is stocked with books for students from elementary to senior high school.
Helen Bigcas, president of the Inner Wheel Club Dagupan Chapter, said this initiative will serve as an additional learning space for the school’s 2,297 students.
She added that they have discussed with City Schools Division head Rowena Banzon the possibility of adopting the ‘Bahay Kubooks’ initiative in all public schools in the city. (Ahikam Pasion)
