Alaminos City student wins national championship
SINING TANGHALAN-PINTAHUSAY
A STUDENT of Alaminos City National High School who came home as national champion in the Sining Tanghalan-Pintahusay at the 2024 National Festival of Talents (NFOT) in Cebu was hailed by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of Pangasinan in a resolution passed for his feat.
The July 15 resolution titled “Congratulating and commending Samuel Ochave Miranda of Alaminos City National High School for his well-deserved success as the national champion in Sining Tanghalan-Pintahusay in the 2024 National Festival of Talents,” manifesting SP’s pride In his “formidable commitment and determination leveraged by Mr. Miranda”.
It added, “His achievement stands as a testament of a world-class talent, skill, and passion. Mr. Miranda’s success serves as a powerful source of inspiration for the youth to develop and hone their skills in the field of arts.”
Miranda’s coach is Marvin Damasco.
NFOT is a DepEd annual co-curricular activity that provides meaningful learning opportunities for basic education learners to display their talents and skills anchored on the learning competencies achieved in schools. (Eva Visperas)
