KING OF KOMIKS — The illustration works of National Artist for Visual Arts Francisco V. Coching are on display at  Dagupan SM Center in Dagupan City. Coching, also known as the “Dean of Philippine Comics Illustrators”. Some of his well-known works include “Hagibis,” “Barbaro,” and “El Indio.” His comics were so popular that many were later adapted into movies by the late Fernando Poe Jr. and his father, Fernando Poe Sr. (Punchphoto by Willie Lomibao)
