Pangasinan NHS hosts Togyupan Learner’s Convergence

THE Pangasinan National High School hosted the 1st Togyupan Division Learner’s Convergence for Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) officers and advisers last April 4, 2024 at the PNHS Social Hall in Lingayen.

The event was participated by student-leaders of 150 schools within Pangasinan 1 Schools Division.

The convergence was aimed at empowering learners and teachers’ leadership and communication skills through active participation in discussions of issues for the learners’ involvement in public and civic affairs.

Mark Gerry Oblanca, Division LF Coordinator and resource speaker, said the Togyupan gave the learners an opportunity to showcase their interactive skills and able to gain ideas regarding the best practices of being an effective leader.

“Togyupan” is a Pangasinan term which refers to a meeting place for significant talks and discussions. (Kim Gealogo)
