Mayor Chan welcomes Miss Universe Philippines-Pangasinan representative to Miss Universe Philippines,Grace Jineah Lumague; and Leknaan ya Pozorrubio founders Gerry and Leslie Gascon.

THE first-ever contender for the Miss Universe-Philippines (MUPh) from Pozorrubio, Grace Jinneah Lumague, and her support team paid a courtesy call on Mayor Kelvin Chan last week.

She was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Gerry and Leslie Gascon, both founders of Leknaan Ya Pozorrubio, Inc.., an  accredited partner of the Miss Universe Philippines in Pangasinan.

Lumague was one out of the 55 official candidates of MUPh and will represent Pangasinan in the Miss Universe Philippines Stage on May 11, 2024 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

During the meeting, Mayor Chan advised Lumague to always remember people who first supported her as she goes up in the ladder of success.

Neah, as her friends call her, is 22 years old, 5″7 tall, from Barangay Nama, and a sophomore nursing student at the University of Baguio. She is active volunteer and member of Leknaan ya Pozorrubio, Inc., a foundation supporting her candidacy and advocacies. (Gin Quesada)
