Agatha Fernandez Wong grabs the Philippine’s first medal in the 16th World Wushu Championships held in Texas, USA. Wong scored 9.776 in the Women’s Taijiquan category bagging second place in the tournament, her second time to win a silver medal for the Philippines in the biggest Wushu Tournament in the world.

Agatha’s proud parents are Christopher Wong and Richa Agatha Fernandez. Her proud grandparents? Wini and (the late) Alice Fernandez of Dagupan City!
