THE provincial government commended a Master Teacher II at Cipriano P. Primicias National High School, Schools Division Pangasinan II in a resolution of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan for winning the Southeast Asia Mathematics Teaching and Learning Model (SEA-MTLM) Sam Ratulangi Award 2023 held last July 17 to 20 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Dr. Mary Lucena De Guzman Tagama, a native of Alcala town, cited for her proven high standard quality education through active involvement and commitment to various learning activities.

In recognition of her feat, Dr. Tagama was invited as one of the speakers to share her best practices at the International Seminar on Mathematics Education Yogharta, Indonesia last July 20.

Prior to her winning, Dr. Tagama was one of the top 20 selected participants at the SEA-MTLM, one of the programs of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Regional Centre for Quality Improvement of Teachers and Education Personnel.. (Pangasinan PIO/RRB)
