Dra. Llamas-Rapacon completes rotation in Harvard

DRA. Jacqueline Llamas-Rapacon, a consultant at the Department of Pediatrics of Region 1 Medical Center, recently finished her Rotation in the International Observership Program in Rheumatology at the Boston Children’s Hospital, a Harvard-affiliated hospital and the best pediatric hospital in the United States.

After finishing her medical studies at the University  of Sto. Tomas, she had her pediatric residency training at the same institution. The abstract of her research was published in the Journal of European Society of Pediatrics and subsequently posted at then Convention  of ESP in Barcelona, Spain.

She also had fellowship training in the subspecialty of Pediatric Rheumatology at the UP-PGH. She holds a Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration.

She is married to Dr. Ralph Lazarus Rapacon, also a consultant at the Department of Surgery of Region 1 Medical Center. He is currently the president  of the Philippine  College of Surgeons, Northern Luzon chapter.
