KBP-Pangasinan chapter resumes Oplan BroadcasTreein
THE Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP)-Pangasinan chapter will hold anew its annual tree planting activity “Oplan BroadcasTreeing,” on August 26 at Daang Kalikasan in Mangatarem town
Jay Mendoza, chairperson of KBP-Pangasinan chapter, said the annual environmental advocacy project was started in 2011 and these were conducted in towns of San Manuel (2011), San Fabian (2012), Dagupan City (2013-2014), Mangatarem (2015), San Fabian (2016), Mangaldan (2017), Balungao (2018), Bugallon (2019), and (San Fabian) 2020.
Although the event is led by the media organization, volunteers are invited to take part in the greening project.
“Those who are interested to join can contact any KBP-member stations for further details,” Mendoza told the Philippine Information Agency. (PIA Pangasinan)
