Infanta mayor, wife test COVID positive
INFANTA Mayor Marvin Martinez said on Thursday that the results of their antigen tests that he and his wife took confirmed their COVID-19 infection was positive.
In a statement posted on the mayor’s official Facebook page, Martinez said when he and his wife began experiencing some symptoms of COVID over the past six days, they decided to take the antigen test.
He said when they started to experience coughs, colds and muscle pain, they immediately decided to isolate themselves so they would not infect others.
He advised the public “not to take for granted this virus as it feels different when it hits you”.
He reminded the people to always follow the minimum standard health protocols. (Eva Visperas)
