Capitol holds workshop on photojourn, news writing for employees
THE Provincial Information Office conducted a workshop on Basic News Writing and Photojournalism for employees and provincial government-run hospital staff last week.
Provincial Information Officer Orpheus Velasco said the workshop provided participants with basic knowledge on photojournalism and news writing to support the Pangasinan PIO in covering new and updated projects of the provincial government particularly during the pandemic.
Provincial Administrator Nimrod S. Camba, who represented Governor Amado Espino III, said the training will help the provincial government further provide quality service to its constituents.
Willie Lomibao of Philippine Daily Inquirer and Sunday PUNCH, and Rhee Fer Hortaleza, editor of various local papers served as the resource speakers.
Seventy-four (74) participants submitted photos and news stories during the workshop.
The training-workshop for videography and effective social media utilization will be held next week, May 18. (PIO)
