Love, chaos and unity
By Virginia Jasmin Pasalo
LOVE could be many things, comforting at times, dislocating too. It can upset equilibrium as well as balance the point where our very center rests. It is beautiful in its own chaos.
You and Me
Yes, you listen to reason
as you said, reason keeps life in order
and I am chaos …
it’s not good to listen to my whispers
it ruffles your whiskers
it takes you out to a forest
of confusion, forgetting
familiar, comforting shades of trees
Happy now?
a comfortable life in the shade
breathing filtered air, listening
to voices, where music has departed
in the corners of painted walls
and you think of me
and I think of you
in the passing of rainbows
in the bluest sky
like we happened
like we once happened
or never did.
Where the wine flows
I wish to ride the winds
sail the clouds
see beyond the stars
to that mystical garden
where
the essential part of me
dances, back to where
my fingers picked the flowers
and my soul sang
with the trumpets of angels
in the company of a unicorn
that turned the garden
to tiny bubbles
of sparkling wine
The silence of the wall
I see a wall
of hummingbirds
of poems ruminating
a thousand songs
and a thousand dances
moving, but not telling
anything
and you speak of fervent desires
in between the crescent moon departing,
and the light of the sun emerging,
in the fog
in the wall and behind it, anything
and everything, or nothing
exist in eternal mist
the sense is fleeting, but holds together
a thread, to the not knowing
unconditional acceptance
without understanding
