Duterte Destroyers use Martial Law as scare tactic

IS the fear about the re-imposition of Martial Law nationwide for real?

Yes.  But only to three types of persons.

The first knows nothing about the intricacies of Martial Law.

The second an alarmist.

And the third a genuine Duterte destroyer.

Only certified idiot would insist that President Duterte would declare Martial Law.

Why because the sonamagun doesn’t know where he is coming from.

Because for Mr. Duterte to be able to declare Martial Law, there should either be nationwide rebellion or invasion by a foreign power.

At the most, the NPA, MILF and BIFF are waging guerilla warfare (NPA) and hostile secessionist acts (MILF & BIFF).

As such, their struggles are mere pockets of resistance against a well-entrenched establishment.

While the CPP-NPA combine operates nationally, it doesn’t have yet the strength and firepower to seriously threaten the overthrow of the government.

Thus, rebellion is non-existent.

And can you name me a country wishing to invade us, conquer us?

China you might say?

That is farthest from the truth.

The only “invasion” that could be pinned on China is its incursions into our territories in the Spratley Islands.

That is not invasion per se, but merely a possible encroachment on our territories in the Philippine West Sea.

There is foreign invasion only when another country’s military power is used to try to topple our government by engaging our armed forces into a military warfare.

There is none of that at the moment and so, where is invasion there?

And what is an alarmist again?

He is one obsessed with doomsday, who thinks only negatively.

Dark clouds, Armageddon if you will, come to his mind at the slightest hint of trouble, like a Constitutional crisis perhaps.

He belongs more to a sanitarium to preserve a society of sane thinkers.

And what is a Duterte Destroyer?

He is one who considers almost everything that Mr. Duterte does as wrong.

Because killings related to the illegal drug campaign is wrong, Mr. Duterte is to blame.

When suspected drug users/pushers and warlords are killed in a police operation, Mr. Duterte is to blame.

The Duterte Destroyer is actually the No. 1 peddler of the lie that Martial Law will be declared nationwide.

By doing that, he hopes to scare the people, in the process succeeding, hopefully, in prodding the people to mount nationwide protest rallies against the present dispensation.

The Duterte Destroyer aka hater hopes to increase in number in the hopes of topping Mr. Duterte out of power through another People Power.

An illusion it is as that can never happen.

The President’s satisfaction rating remains at an all-time high as he is well-loved by the masses.

Well, at least, the protest rallies remind us once more that democracy is alive and kicking.

If only for that, who needs Martial Law?
