RESPECT FOR THE FLAG. No more tattered flag in Malasiqui. Hooray!

I saw this last week when I drove to the area fronting the municipal hall and saw the change in the flag hoisted at the flagpole.

Thank you Mr. Mayor, for heeding our call in this section.

We hope local government units would do the same to show respect to the symbol of our country.—Tita Roces

WHEN LOYALTY COUNTS. What’s this we heard about a person who now looks cold and unhappy with the man he chose to join but is now looking for an opportunity to return to his old benefactor whom he had left and abandoned when the political fight had not even began.

His problem is he’s not so certain if the old benefactor would still take him back with a welcome arm like a long lost sheep, and be willing to let bygones be bygones considering the length of time he has left the fold and the many exchanges that happened.

Many wags say shifting loyalties from one man to another at this time may not be easy and a wee too late, particularly if the motivation was about money.

Methinks if he is really sincere in reconciling with the old boss, he could have flown the coop earlier the first time he already felt he has been deserted by the new boss but he didn’t.

Could there still be something in it for the old boss to take him back? Hmmm – Leonardo Micua
