REGIONAL PRIORITY TARGET ARRESTED

POLICE operatives arrested a regional priority high-value target and confiscated close to P1.1 million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation conducted along the bypass road of Barangay Poblacion, Lingayen, on October 7, 2025.

The suspect, a 38-year-old construction worker from Mangaldan, was found in possession of two heat-sealed and five knot-tied transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with a total weight of approximately 160 grams.

He is now facing charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act 9165).

Police Regional Office 1 Director PBGen Dindo Reyes commended the joint effort, emphasizing that the operation marks another decisive step in the ongoing campaign against illegal drugs in the region. (Eva Visperas)
