Murdered 7-year-old girl laid to rest in her hometown Asingan
THE remains of seven-year-old Alleria Gabrielle “Portia” Jamias, who was found lifeless on a beach in Dagupan City on August 15, were laid to rest Monday morning, August 25, in a private cemetery in her hometown Asingan.

Before the burial, a solemn funeral mass was held at the Saint Vincent Ferrer Parish Church, where family, friends, and loved ones gathered and commemorated the cheerful child whose life was tragically cut short.
The local police provided tight security throughout the burial proceedings to ensure the safety and order of the event.
Portia was found dead along the shore of Barangay Bonuan Gueset in Dagupan City early morning of August 15, a day after she was reportedly taken by her known father and his partner.
The couple has been arrested and indicted for kidnapping with homicide. (Ahikam Pasion)
