
Shabu seized, suspect nabbed in Lingayen
A high-value drug suspect was arrested, and 50 grams of shabu with a P340,000 street value, were seized during a buy-bust operation conducted by joint law enforcement units in Lingayen on June 3.
Authorities identified the suspect as Ronnie Duyag, 47, a resident of Urdaneta City.
He was apprehended shortly after midnight along the Bypass Road in Barangay Poblacion by a composite team from the Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit, Provincial Intelligence Unit, Police Drug Enforcement Group Special Operations Unit 1, Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit, Lingayen Municipal Police Station, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
PBGen Lou Evangelista, police regional director, commended the coordinated efforts of the operatives, saying, “The successful apprehension of this high-value drug suspect is a testament to the steadfast dedication of our law enforcement personnel in Region 1. Our collective efforts will continue to safeguard our community and uphold the rule of law.” (Eva Visperas)
