Entertainer nabbed in pot session inside Sta. Maria bar

A 30-year-old entertainer was arrested in the town of Sta. Maria after he was caught participating in a “pot session” inside a bar.

The arrest followed a tip-off received by the police from Renato Tidoy Egos, 52, the owner of a KTV bar located in Barangay Samon, Sta. Maria.  Responding officers apprehended the suspects, Ailyn Payte Camit, 30, a resident of Barangay Bayabas, Sablan, Benguet, and Jomar Pande Valerio from Barangay San Julian, Balungao. However, Valerio managed to escape.

Man injured in motorcycle accident

A 29-year-old production crew member sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident in the municipality of Balungao.

The victim, identified as Richard M. Calaus, a resident of Barangay San Aurelio 3rd, was driving his motorcycle along the National Highway when he lost control and crashed into a concrete fence.  As a result of the collision, Calaus sustained injuries to various parts of his body, including his head. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Calasiao thief nabbed by authorities

A 26-year-old man was arrested by police for stealing from a store in the town of Calasiao.

The crime was witnessed by a 38-year-old complainant, who caught the suspect, John-John Villamor, in the act of stealing an iPhone worth P20,000. Villamor, a resident of Barangay Caranglaan, Dagupan, was with an accomplice who managed to escape. In addition to the phone, the suspects also took ₱600 in cash from the store’s earnings.

The police promptly arrested of Villamor. However, his accomplice is still at large, and authorities are currently searching for him.

Motorcycle rider, senior citizen killed in Asingan road mishap

A 19-year-old motorcycle rider and a 63-year-old woman were killed in a tragic road accident in Asingan town along the Carusucan Sur road when the motorcycle rider, Fernando Mendoza Dumagueta Jr., a resident of Barangay Piaz Villasis, hit Teresita Orines Gumangan, who was crossing the street.

Both victims sustained severe injuries to different parts of their bodies. They were rushed to a local hospital but were declared dead on arrival.

Over P100K shabu seized, 3 nabbed in Lingayen ops

THREE street-level drug dealers were caught with over P100,000 worth of suspected shabu in Lingayen in a buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Maniboc.

Arrested were a 43-year-old man, a 33-year-old construction worker, and a 43-year-old garbage collector, all residents of the town.  Authorities seized 16 grams of suspected shabu with a street value of P108,800. The arrested individuals are now facing charges related to the illegal drug trade.

5 injured in Basista road incident

Five individuals were rushed to the hospital after a road accident along the road of Barangay Nibaliw Norte in Bautista town.

A vehicle, driven by 42-year-old Ricky Latonio Asuncion from Malasiqui, along with three passengers, collided head-on with a motorcycle driven by 41-year-old Alvin Ramos Eslabra from Barangay Poblacion West, Bautista. The crash resulted in injuries to both parties.
