PRO1 chief: Capture of Pozorrubio robbers a priority
THE Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1) Director P/BGen Lou Evangelista vowed swift and decisive action to bring the perpetrators to justice as he condemned the robbery that occurred in Pozorrubio on Wednesday afternoon.
“We assure the public that PRO1 is employing all necessary measures to track down the perpetrators responsible for this incident; their swift arrest is our top priority,” he said in a statement as he lauded the immediate response of the Pozorrubio Municipal Police Station.
He also directed the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office to intensify efforts in tracking down the robbers who broke into a pawnshop, bagged jewelry, and shot at responding cops as they made their escape, while the PRO1 launched regional dragnet operations and set up checkpoints across Pangasinan and neighboring provinces.
