Rider dead after crashing into an electric post

A motorcycle rider was killed after colliding with an electricity pole in the town of Lingayen.

Residents at Baywalk in Libsong East discovered the body while the motorcycle involved in the incident was also found nearby, showing significant damage to its front end.

Authorities are currently investigating and working to identify the victim.

Man killed in Aguilar road crash

A 20-year-old man on a motorbike died after being hit by a pickup truck driven by a foreign national in the town of Aguilar.

The driver, a 38-year-old Chinese national residing in Poblacion Aguilar, and a 21-year-old woman who was with him, were unharmed.

The victim was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Woman’s body found floating in San Fabian River

 THE body of a woman was found floating in the Bued River in San Fabian town Thursday morning, May 15.

According to the San Fabian Police, the woman was wearing a blue T-shirt, rubber shoes, and blue pants at the time of discovery. She also had a gold ring on her right ring finger. Authorities estimate her age to be between 30 to 40 years old.

The remains were taken to a funeral home for proper disposition. Police officials have also coordinated with nearby municipalities to identify the victim and determine the circumstances surrounding her death.

Man found dead in San Nicolas roadside

A man was found dead along McKinley Street, Barangay Nagkaysa in San Nicolas by residents John Carlo Dulay Blanco, 19, and Anacleto Quines Apaga, who immediately reported the incident to the police.

The body, with stab wounds on the right side of the chest, was later identified as 42-year-old Andrew Solis Acosta, a resident of the same barangay.

Investigation is ongoing.

Pedestrian dead in Bolinao road mishap

A man died after being hit by a motorcycle while crossing the National Road in Barangay Tara, Bolinao.

The motorcycle was driven by Clinton Olermo Carolino, 26, an LGU-Anda employee and resident of Barangay Siapar, Anda. The pedestrian, identified as Jorie Marilla Morete, also a resident of Barangay Tara, suddenly crossed the road, leading to the collision.

Both the pedestrian and the motorcycle rider fell to the ground during the crash. However, the pedestrian sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

Motorcycle crash kills 2

A motorcycle rider and his passenger were killed after their vehicle crashed into a mango tree in the town of Sta. Maria.

According to police investigations, the victims were traveling along the national road in Barangay Pilar when the motorcycle driver suddenly lost control.

Emergency responders rushed the victims to a nearby hospital, but they were both declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

Man drowns while attempting to cross river

A 33-year-old man with mental health challenges drowned after attempting to cross a river in San Nicolas town.

Responders from the San Nicolas Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office found the victim submerged in Sabangan River, located in Barangay San Rafael West.

According to his nephews, the last time they saw him was when he was trying to cross the river. His family declined to have the body undergo an autopsy.

Drunk man drowns in Rosales River

A 49-year old man from Asingan, who was reportedly drunk at the time of the incident, drowned in a river in the town of Rosales.

Responding authorities found the body floating in the Agno River near Barangay Carmen East in Rosales. The drowning is reported to have occurred at the boundary of Barangays Carusucan Sur in Asingan and Pias in Villasis.
