Four individuals were arrested and illegal drugs and paraphernalia were also seized during the buy-bust operation.

PDEA Pangasinan provincial officer Rechie Camacho said in an interview that they had been monitoring the suspected drug den for some time, gathering intelligence on the activities of the individuals involved.

The operation yielded six heat-sealed plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, with an estimated weight of 8 grams and a street value of P32,000.

The arrested individuals were identified as Joselito Ventura, 54, the subject of the buy-bust operation; Delia Ventura, 47, drug-den co-maintainer; John Carlo Ventura, 21; and Marvin Arenas, 31, visitor in the drug den.

They will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
