Man nabbed for drug trafficking in Dagupan

A man was arrested for alleged drug trafficking in Dagupan City following a buy-bust operation conducted by the Philippine National Police.

The operation took place in Barangay Bolosan, where authorities apprehended the suspect, identified as Marvin Lambino Muyano, also known as “Macvin,” a 38-year-old resident of Barangay Maasin, Mangaldan.

He was found in possession of two packets containing approximately three grams of suspected shabu, valued at around P20,400. Charges for violating Section 5 under Article II of Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, are now being prepared against the suspect.

OFW stabbed in San Fabian eatery

AN Overseas Filipino Worker was rushed to the hospital after being stabbed by an unidentified man following an altercation at a local porridge stall in San Fabian.

The victim, 27-year-old Gio Juguilon, a resident of Barangay Bolasi, had gone to the eatery in Barangay Tempra-Guilig with a minor and two others for dinner, where he had an accidental confrontation with the suspect who was with three companions.

Witnesses reported that the suspect threw porridge at the victim before stabbing him in the left armpit. The assailants then fled the scene on a tricycle.

Emergency responders swiftly transported Juguilon to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. Local police are actively searching for the suspects involved in the attack.

Couple shot in Manaoag, 1 dead

A 57-year-old woman was shot and killed in Barangay Oraan East, Manaoag, while she and her husband were visiting their rice farm in the morning of November 26.

According to Manaoag Chief of Police Major Peter Paul Sison, land disputes are being investigated as the potential motive behind the shooting of Daniel Abarcar and his wife, Virginia.

Initial police investigation revealed that the Abarcars were simply checking on their farm when they encountered the gunman, known only by the alias “Bato,” who is also a resident of Manaoag.

The suspect fired five shots at the victims using a .45 caliber firearm, with one of the fatal shots striking Virginia in the neck. He is now in police custody and charges are being prepared for filing.

Tricycle driver gunned down in Dagupan

A man died after being shot in the head and neck in a daylight attack by unidentified assailants in Dagupan City.

The incident occurred in Barangay Tebeng and the victim has been identified as Edwin Lopez, a local resident and tricycle driver.

Operations are ongoing to identify and arrest the suspects.
