13-year old drowns in Agno River
A 13-year-old boy drowned while swimming with friends in the Agno River in Barangay Basing, Lingayen on November 13.
CJ Manuel, a Grade 7 student and resident of Barangay Basing, was swept away by the river’s strong current, according to witnesses.
Despite efforts to swim back to the shallower part of the river, he was unable to make it and drowned.
His body was later recovered along the coastal area in Barangay Aliwekwek. (Eva Visperas)
