PRO1 launches hunt for wanted KOJC members
THE Philippine National Police Regional Office 1 (PRO 1) has initiated a comprehensive operation to track down wanted members of the Kingdom of the Church of Jesus (KOJC) who may be hiding in the region.
According to Regional Director P/Brig.Gen Lou Evangelista, all units under PRO 1 are on high alert status for the possible presence or activities related to the KOJC wanted individuals.
He also called on individuals with information about the whereabouts of the wanted KOJC members to come forward as he emphasized that public cooperation is crucial in tracking down these suspects.
At the same time, he gave assurance that the police are committed to upholding the rule of law and ensuring public safety amid the manhunt operations, saying, “Adherence to professional standards and human rights principles is non-negotiable.” (Ahikam Pasion)
