Man fatally assaulted by drinking companions
A 44-year-old man was killed in a brutal attack by two of his drinking companions in Bayambang. The victim, identified as Jojo Frias, a resident of Barangay Sanlibo, was drinking with the suspects —Parujan Tamondong, 44, and Carlo Fuertes, 32 — at his house and they later moved to a nearby building under construction where the crime was committed.
The assailants quickly fled the scene and are now the subjects of police manhunt.

Man drowns in swimming pool after drinking spree
AT a resort in Barangay Lebueg, Laoac, an intoxicated man lost his life after drowning in a swimming pool.
The victim has been identified as Salvador Baltazar Aquino, a 29-year-old resident of Sitio Paetan in Barangay D’alarcio, Laoac.
According to police investigations, Aquino had been drinking before he decided to take a swim in the pool, which was five feet deep. He was rushed to the hospital after he was found floating, but the attending doctor declared him dead on arrival.

Man arrested for stabbing in Dagupan City
A man is facing charges after allegedly stabbing a long-standing rival while on the way home in Dagupan City. The suspect, identified as Allan Dispo Villacorta, 32 years old and a resident of Nueva Street in Barangays 2 and 3, Dagupan City, reportedly stabbed Reynaldo Malapit Solomon, 42 years old and a resident of Barangay Mamalingling.
Witnesses, including Mario Ng Laguerta and other concerned citizens, intervened and rushed the victim to the hospital while the suspect was apprehended by police in a follow-up operation and is now facing charges.

Tricycle driver caught with illegal drugs in Dagupan
IN a recent buy-bust operation conducted by the police, a tricycle driver was apprehended in Dagupan City. The suspect, identified as 43-year-old Jason Cayabyab Cornel, also known as “Jayson/Jason,” was taken into custody during the operation near the Mayors Pavilion in Tondaligan, Barangay Bonuan Gueset, Dagupan City.
Jason was found in possession of two packages of suspected shabu (methamphetamine), P500 marked money, and the boodle money. He is facing charges for violation of R.A.9165.

Business owner shot dead in San Carlos City
A business owner was shot dead Wednesday afternoon, September 25, in Barangay Palaming, San Carlos City. Victim Goodard Garbiel Manese, 30, resident of Barangay Calomboyan in San Carlos City, was back riding on motorcycle driven by his assistant Sean Scallia Aguilar, when he was shot in the head by an unidentified assailant on board another motorcycle.
Police reports say Manese and Aguilar were vloggers and doing bakas, a practice where an influencer leaves money in a certain spot for their followers to find and claim.
Manese was rushed to the Virgen Milagrosa Medical Center but was declared dead on arrival.

Fisherman drowns after getting entangled in fishing net
TRAGEDY struck off the coast of San Fabian as a fisherman lost his life while attempting to repair a fishing net. Jose Costales Damian, a 48-year-old resident of Barangay Sobol, was fishing in the deep waters near Center Beach in Barangay Nibaliw Vidal when the incident occurred.
According to eyewitnesses, Damian became entangled in the net he was fixing. Despite his efforts to free himself, he was unable to resurface. Fellow fishermen who spotted him caught in the fishing net managed to retrieve his lifeless body.

Janitor found dead Inside school premises
THE lifeless body of a 26-year-old janitor was discovered at the Kingfisher School of Business and Finance. The victim, identified as Arnel Pones Discaya, hailed from Brgy. Aroroy, Masbate City, Masbate, and was currently residing in Barangay Lucao, Dagupan City.
According to police investigations, another janitor, Jomer Notorio Notarte, aged 47, and also a resident of Lucao, arrived at the school and found Discaya’s lifeless body on the floor.
