2 injured in shooting, stabbing incident

A violent altercation involving gunfire and stabbing left two individuals injured in the town of San Quintin in Barangay San Pedro. Police investigation showed one of the suspects confronted the victim, Fernando Fabro Dulay, a 54-year-old farmer, in front of the latter’s house and the heated argument led to a chase that involved two other individuals.

The arrested suspects were Romualdo Silvania Cariño, 55, and Rolly Andres Biagtan, a 33-year-old construction worker residing in the area. Legal proceedings are being prepared against the suspects.

2 nabbed in Bani stabbing incident

TWO persons were apprehended following a complaint of assault lodged against them in Bani town by Jhon Selvester Camba Castro, a 22-year-old resident of Barangay San Vicente. He filed the report at the Bani Police Station, accompanied by a Certificate to File Action related to an alleged stabbing incident on August 23. The suspects involved were Joel Magadang Camba, 51, and Christian Jay Pamo, 26.

The incident arose during a drinking session at the birthday celebration of the victim’s grandfather.

Armed PNP impersonators steal P700K

AUTHORITIES are investigating a break-in where the suspects posed as police officers, targeted a business establishment in Sison.

The impostors, dressed in PNP Field Service Uniforms and armed with still unidentified firearms, forcibly entered the premises of Golden Aggregates Crashing Plant. They subdued the workers inside using galvanized iron wires and a level hose, then silenced them with duct tape. The criminals made off with an Apple phone and approximately P700,000 in cash.

Burglars take P50,000 in Tayug gas station break-in

AUTHORITIES are currently probing a break-in at a gas station in Tayug. The owner of the gas station, Edison Jalocon, 53, reported the incident to the police upon being informed by gasoline attendant Nikki Lou Jose Almoete, that the station’s doors had been found open.

Upon further inspection, they discovered that the safety box containing P50,000 was missing along with a CCTV recorder and an amplifier.

Self-accident in Dagupan City kills 1, injures 1

A self-vehicular accident occurred along the De Venecia Highway in Barangay Tapuac, Dagupan City, that resulted in the death of one and severe injuries to another. At the scene, authorities found the victims: Reymark Beo Mintac, a 26-year-old cement delivery boy, and Vincent Bebot Lavarias, 30, also a cement delivery worker from Barangay Longos, San Fabian.

Police investigation showed the two, under the influence of liquor, were en route to Barangay Lucao when their motorcycle crashed into a concrete barrier.

2 men drown in Villasis irrigation canal

TWO men, Raymund Salongga Balucanag, 40, and Antonio Pardeloza Tadio, 45, a former Barangay Kagawad from Barangobong, Villasis, drowned after being swept away in an irrigation canal in Villasis.

According to police investigation, Raymund, under the influence of alcohol, was swimming in the six-foot-deep irrigation canal when strong current carried him away and drowned. Lorito Custodio, a local resident who witnessed the incident, promptly informed Raymund’s brother, Renie Boy Balucanag, and Raymund’s brother-in-law, Tadio. Both jumped into the water to save Raymund, but Tadio also also swept away by the powerful current and drowned.
