Construction worker shot over accusations
A 33-year-old construction worker is under close observation by doctors after he was shot by his neighbor in Bonuan Gueset, Dagupan City, whom he accused of throwing stones at their house and other neighbors.
The victim, Marvie Cariño Landingin, was allegedly calling out the suspect, Jeffrey Bautista Sotelo, 35, a resident of the same neighborhood, who became irritated, pulled out a .38 caliber revolver and shot the victim who sustained a gunshot wound in his left armpit.
Authorities are currently searching for the suspect who fled.

Caretaker stabbed by drinking companion
A fish cage caretaker was stabbed by his drinking companion in the town of Infanta.
According to the police, Joel Lumbos Llano, 30, tried to stop the suspect, Claude Bruce, 29, a resident of Cato, Infanta, from causing trouble while they were drinking.
This angered the suspect, who then grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim in the left side of the neck.
The victim was quickly taken to the hospital, while the suspect was arrested and immediately detained.

Motorcycle rider crashes into an electric post, dies
A 24-year-old motorcycle rider died when he drove into an electric post amd fell in an irrigiton canal in San Jose Street, Barangay Poblacion, Mangaldan.
The victim, identified as John Paul Camara Diaz, a helper and resident of Barangay Palua, Mangaldan, sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

1 dead, 2 critical as motorcycle crashes into bridge gutter
AN 18-year-old teen died and two others were injured when their motorcycle crashed into a bridge gutter in Dagupan City.
According to the doctor’s examination, all three were intoxicated with alcohol.
The driver and the fatality, Clint Lloyd Diwas, a resident of La Trinidad, Benguet, was overtaking a tricycle along the provincial road in Arellano Dawel when he failed to notice the curve on the newly constructed bridge, causing the motorcycle to hit the gutter.
His companions, fellow student Jerwin Abod Ngaseo, a resident of Baguio City, and Lorilyn Villanueva, an online seller from Baguio City, are still under medical observation.

Rider injured after hitting dog
A 24-year-old rider sustained injuries in various parts of his body after hitting a dog along the National Road in Barangay Magsaysay, San Jacinto late evening.
The victim, Mike Visperas Velasquez, a resident of Barangay Navaluan, Mangaldan, was riding home when a dog suddenly crossed his path and hit it. The impact threw the victim off his motorcycle, resulting in his injuries. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities urge the public to tie up or contain their pets at night to prevent accidents.
