Dental technician accuses helper of theft
A CASE of theft in Dagupan City, was reported by a dental technician who alleged that it was his assistant who stole P1.1M.
Antonio Galvan Paragas, a 65-year-old resident of Pogo Grande, reported the incident to the police after discovering that P1.1 million had gone missing from his cabinet.
Before this, Paragas had observed his helper, Ivan Dwane Sison Lee, a 20-year-old resident of Zamora St., Brgy. Pogo Chico, hastily leaving his residence.
In a swift follow-up operation conducted by the Dagupan City Police Station, the suspect was apprehended at his home.
There, authorities recovered P 114,225 and three motorcycles.
The accused confessed to the theft, implicating himself in the eyes of his employer. The suspect is now in custody and will face legal charges for his actions.

Collision leaves four injured
A VEHICULAR accident in the Mangatarem town, resulted in injuries to four individuals after a collision between a tricycle and a car.
The incident happened on the Romulo Highway in Barangay Olo Cacamposan. Benjamin Caldito Legaspi Jr., a 22-year-old resident of Barangay Sto. Tomas, San Jacinto and a tricycle driver, was driving the tricycle. His passengers included Cruz Balbutin Valdez Jr., 32, and also from Barangay Sto. Tomas, San Jacinto, along with several minors from Barangay Magsaysay.
However, as Legaspi made a turn, his tricycle collided with a car driven by Domingo Tamayo Caguioa, a 69-year-old resident of Barangay Ugad, Cabagan, Isabela.
In the car were Maria Socorro Bacud Caguioa, a 70 year-old retired teacher from the same barangay, and another minor.
The impact caused the tricycle’s occupants to be thrown off, resulting in injuries.
Emergency responders transported them to the hospital. Authorities are assessing the extent of damage to both vehicles involved in the unfortunate accident.

Police nabbed three women posing as real estate brokers
THREE women who had been masquerading as real estate brokers were apprehended in an entrapment operation by Mangaldan Police
Victims Virgilio Rigundegie Norberte and Sally Camara Norberte, both residents of Minien West, Santa Barbara town, fell victims to the scam orchestrated by the three women..
The arrested suspects were Maville Banlaoi Bautista, 40, of Barangay Macayug, Mangaldan, Marites Moyano Doria, 47, from Barangay Bari, Mangaldan, and Gerlina Fernandez De Leon, 50, from Barangay Guiguilonen, Mangaldan.
According to the two complainants, the suspects pawned a piece of land in Barangay Mabilao, San Fabian, which actually belongs to a certain Felipe P. Caoili from La Trinidad, Benguet.
Further investigation revealed that the trio were not registered real estate brokers and had presented falsified documents.
The Mangaldan Police arrested them in an entrapment operation in Barangay Guiguilonen. Charges are now being prepared against them.

Father fatally stabs own son amid misunderstanding
A TRAGIC incident unfolded in Mangaldan town when a father fatally stabbed his own son during a heated altercation.
The victim, Rap Rap Serafica De Leon, a 26-year-old rice mill worker, and his father, Raffy Quero De Leon, aged 44, both residents of Barangay Alitaya, Mangaldan, had been drinking separately.
Fate brought them face-to-face as they made their way home along Zone 1, Mindanao Road, where a heated argument ensued. Their neighbor, Jefrey Quinto y Gallardo, 35, overheard the father and son shouting at each other.
When he rushed to the scene, he found the young man lying in a pool of blood with a knife nearby, while the suspect, the boy’s father, leaned against a blood-streaked wall.
Emergency responders transported the father and son to the hospital. The younger De Leon was declared dead on arrival. Meanwhile, the elder De Leon sustained a facial fracture and remains under medical care.
Investigation revealed that the father struck his son with a rock to the face initially, and then proceeded to stab him.
